2 words : vry tired hahax ok the first day erm basically we split into 4 grps.yea erm nanyang,tkg,st nics,anderson & fairfield was there. so yea we learnt a new song in tt grp [mulie rendara]its some brazillian song thing. pronounciation so confusing...... yea but we finished learning early & slacked la. then aft lunch we combined wif the sops earlier than supposed to. so we slacked some more :) then aft "tea" we combined with the tenors & basses. with the help of ms yin! yah ! it was fun but vry tiring la. ok the second day was quite ok la. in the morning victoria made us run 1 round around the skool[ like 4 wad! ]but thx it was only 1 round! phew.... then boarded the bus.... yada yada yada.... warm-ups then split to the 4 grps 4 sectionals. our conductor was mr goh [yes the very same tt wrote the 'ling~~ ling~~' and caused many misery] haha. he made us do these silly stuff like wad CONTORT YOUR FACE wadeva. he might have a few screws loose. the after the performance--lunch then started sectionals [now in original choirs] ms yin came & SAVED us from doom cos our jap song floped during practice. but then MSLIM 'took her away' to help fairfield. performance: we did okay. st nics did jaakobin pojat [not fair] fairfield was the best choir nanyang was the worst SURPISE SURPRISE! haha- -terminated- ps. marianne is not going to shanghai! wee! i got my x'mas wish :) |

Step Up -    I like this movie. **** for this movie The pace was just right, an hour and 50min. The music was good and most importantly, the dance was good. A Saturday Outing w my Cousins - 11am we met earlier to have their breakfast at Parkway Mac while AH and yy arrived later, as they value more sleeping time to breakfast. At 12pm, we started our cruise. Generally, blading on a flat path wasn't much of a problem, but I am still not confident with my stopping. I could not also control my blades properly while on slopes. As we are all of different skill level, we eventually splited up, moving in various directions. With cell phone, we gathered an hour later. After which was a little resting time at Mac b4 going to Mel's condo to shower. 3pm 7 of us made our way to Tampines Mall for 'Step Up' 7pm neoprints I would think that the addictive portion comes from the process of taking pictures and designing them. From a businessman's point of view, this is a very innovative $ generating business, where the target is the teens. However, from the perspective of a working adult where I understand that $ is hard to come by, I pity the parents who's not able to incalcate the imporatnce and value of $ to the teens. 9pm After dinner, we got pris's dad to pick us up and send us back to mel's place at Parkway. By then AH and yy were rather exhausted but these kids were still on their hyper mood. Simply ignoring the 5 adult parents and 2 young adults' presences, they continued their fun and laughter. Both AH and yueyun have to admit defeat to them, we are indeed old already. To sum up all, I quite enjoyed my day trip with these cousins. Looking forward to more trips with them |

Date: Friday, November 17, 2006 Time: 12:25 PM ok 2dae choir practice was darn shity..... first like so lil' ppl came... then some drama ppl came & said they book beethovan room so like we had 2 move out.so immagine like all of us had 2 squeeze into janacek. which was btw, hot & stuffy. [for me at least] then like we had combined.... yada yada yada.... then the freaking person walks in & asks us 2 send out our 2 best ppl [ per section ] so we picked samantha & marianne..... & like at the end she said " it was excellent bluffing it was complete rubbish" & i'm like thinking fu&% u they did okay! it's a hard song if u can critique them after like how many hours of singing i sugest u try n learn tis bloody song & do every thing CORRECTLY! then she said like marianne does not open her mouth.wad iz your problem i could her marianne! elsa n some other ppl could 2 so if u can hear her then does it really matter??? it's not tt easy u noe! argh.... anyways on another note: brenda is going 2 die cos she didn't inform jiamin tt there was choir 2dae which was e reason jiamin & sherlyn didn't come [ sherlyn asked jiamin ] . oops! lack of communication there.... yipee ! 2morrow i'm going out wif the cousins! going blading & shopping! could 2morrow be even more perfect? i doubt so...... yahs ! hahax...... |

10 November- Reached the chalet after getting lost for a while 'cos the place is so ulu; burried somewhere in Changi. 531 Netharavon Road thus became the address of about 50 girls and 2 teachers for the next 2 days. Had games at the beach [it was literally at our doorstep X)] , a yummy Macs dinner... NIGHT WALK. ^^ A very HIGH bunch of us went walking down to Changi Village, talking, laughing, singing (duh we're choristers afterall), basically making a lot of noise and enjoying ourselves. Some passer-by even asked which school we were from. :O :S Did a couldn't-get-any-more-impromptu performance at near some fishing area which honestly wasn't very in tune because we were so high (...). We probably scared the fish away from the fishers there. :SS But then Ms Ng & Ms Tay were like "you were all very relaxed and happy" (something like that) so YEAH. Proceeded to the hawker centre next to well, SING for the people there. The little kids were all like looking at us; at least we were appreciated. There was even this guy who took a pic of us. (: Went back to the chalet singing that Carlsberg (sic!!?!) ad song even though we didn't know the words. Back at the chalet, Ms Tay told us some guy from the SAF told us we sounded "like angels" and even wanted us to perform at their Christmas function. WHOA. Happy lah. :D (Ok honestly we performed better at the open-house but YOU KNOW...) . Ohoh. Bathing time was limited to like 5 minutes per person (remember 50+ people have to share a mere 2 shower facilities). Settled down; figured out how to squeeze 12 girls into a tiny room; tried to sleep (as in the alto 2s), some more successful than the others. Those who knocked out later did so at about 1++?? 'Cos we (Jia Min, Elsa, Gloria, Sherlyn, Shi Han)were all talking nonsense (I honestly cannot remember what we were talking about) and laughing/giggling. HAHAHAHA. 11 November- Had a morning jog at the beach. Only about half of us really jogged. I did!! For like 1/4 of the way. ERR. Breakfast, warm-ups, then TA-DAH Marianne came. (welcome back darling we missed you) Ah and then Ms Lim was like "yaddayaddayadda" sometimes happy with us sometimes not so. Did the ___ song for SYF; we (the alto 2 people) couldn't really get the rhythm at some part but er, REST ASSURED BRENDA we'll get it fixed soon. (: Had nasi lemak lunch, then did dunno what. Games I think. LOL. Slacked for a bit in our rooms, got ready for the Special Nite (it wasn't Choir Idol) . I DIDN'T PLAY MYSELF. Heng lah. Had a delayed bbq (I don't know how to spell it out in full) because of the rain. :S Special Nite was cool. Sop 1 did a SI scene, Sop 2, Cinderella, Alto 1, some special version of Lost, and Alto 2, A TYPICAL SCENE IN CHOIR. ((: All the items certainly proved we all had a good sense of humour(sic??) In the end, our positions were (in ascending order of merit) : A2, A1, S1 and S2. GONG XI to one and all for your efforts. Bath time~~ OH. Alto 2 had TOILET DUTY. But it was -ok- because Sherlyn did about everything (picking the hair up) ; we dared her during truth or dare. WAHAHAHA. But she was brave about it. :D Whoa. Now's the mostmostmost memorable bit- the 7-way (Elsa, Jia Min, GLoria, Sherlyn, Sandy, Katherine and debb) talk on well, ___ past, present, and future. :O Although that material is strictly not meant for this entry. HEH. We are keeping it within the section.[ i didnt hear anything... i was sleeping][darn it] |

kk ytd we [ me mum n wei] went 2 bugis 4 lunch aft tkg open hse. which by the way choir perform tt time like noone was there and like after evey song like only so little ppl there. mum was there n like aft that performance , 1/2 the section ask me if wei was my sis.... diao, bugis was nice i got a small pillow, hairband, and 3 markers...... ok la today! went to pp as usual. bought snacks 4 camp. heehee. got pocky, hello panda, yan yan, and chips! + cup noodles.... well mini cup noodles. back home me n wei cleaned out the clothes cupboard & found some pretty intriguing things .......[ not sayin ] ya throw away loads of old clothes.... found some clothes i was looking 4 n yea.... gonna make cookies todae also.ok see ya! |
